I’ve learned that whatever you believe, you can achieve. As I began to manifest in my life, I learned that there was a 6-step process that guides manifesting.
I want to share it with you now, so you can manifest anything you want!
It starts with an intention…the dream, what it is that you actually want to create.
What is an intention? It’s defined as “a thing intended; an aim or plan”.
Have you ever set your mind to do something and seen what happened when you didn’t waste any energy worrying about it NOT happening?
I know I have! It’s how I manifested my first house when I was a 20 year old single parent. I set the intention even when I had no idea how it would happen that I wanted to buy a house.
Without judging it or trying to figure it all out, I just took next steps. Within 90 days I had keys in my hands to a brand new house.
It starts there when you want to manifest something in your life…be clear about your intention.
Why is this important?
If you’ve done any study around the law of attraction, you know that you attract what you send out. What you think about and feel is the energy/signal/vibration you send out to the Universe.
So if you remember that the Universe says YES then you would want to pay close attention to what you are sending out there.
Let’s do all the steps together!
Step 1: Set your intention for what you want to manifest
Start with your big dream – write it out no matter if you know how to create it or not.
Be aware of this mistake:
You write it out and start ruling out all the ways it couldn’t happen. OR you write out something so big you don’t even believe it at all.
If you feel stuck here, and feel like you have no idea what you want in your life, I have a resource. You can access free right away, it’s the 5-day Life Clarity Challenge with my friend Dr. Tiffany Stewart.
It’s important to access any support available to get clarity, so that you can begin to change your life right away and manifest what you want – not what you don’t want.
Step 2: Think and feel the possibility of what you want to manifest
Now ask yourself the question: “What would it be like to ____ (fill in the blank)?”
Example: “What would it be like to have a powerful launch that would reach hundreds or thousands of people, and create $10,000 or more in sales and working with my perfect clients?”
Think about the answer to that question and really imagine it actually happening and how it would feel to have that happen.
Be aware of this mistake:
You just write it out and go through the motions to just get it done. (there is no emotion in that…it’s almost like there’s disbelief which cancels out the possibility at that time because there isn’t any feeling)
When you FEEL what it’s like to enjoy the answer, the experience of having it all, is what shifts your ACTUAL attraction to it.
The stronger the feeling, the more power of attraction.
Step 3: Do a brain dump of all the ways you could manifest
Begin by writing out (or I call it a brain dump) all the ways that you could create that big dream in no particular order, just what ideas you have.
I find that this gets my mind thinking about and focused on possibility.
Ask yourself more than once, “What are all the ways I could create this?”
Then pause for the answers.
Quick tip: I like to bring in support when I do a brainstorm. I either ask a colleague, use a current mastermind, pick up a book I have OR look to my mentors – whether through a podcast, radio show or an online summit.
Resource: My friend Carol Ann DeSimine, has brought together a world summit of 20 experts (including me), going on now focused on growing your profits. (cash flow secrets, client attraction, 7-figure systems, relationships, and building 6 & 7 figure businesses and more) If you don’t have enough ideas, this free event will definitely give you some. 🙂
From that list, think about things you are doing right now in your business that could support you in moving towards your big dream.
Is there things you could be doing or want to do differently?
Next, breakdown your big dream and create goals that would support reaching your big dream.
Example: “I would love to take 4 trips a year with my family to beautiful locations.”
When would be the 4 times you would want to travel?
Where would you want to go?
What would it take to have that happen? Financially? Timeframe?
Set the goal time, place and money goal to create it.
The clearer it is, the faster it will happen.
Step 4: Detach from the outcome
This one is important: Detaching from the outcome means letting go of all the ways that you think it could happen…the how.
Stay in the possibility – which allows you to keep your focus on what you want to have happen versus NOT happen.
There are many ways you could get your results, in fact there are unlimited ways to create what you want. When you attach yourself to the only ways you know, you may actually miss out on many possibilities.
Be aware of this mistake:
Example: “I just need 2 more clients this week to make this goal so I could take that vacation I want.” Then get disappointed when it you don’t get the clients.
By attaching to that way of making your dream vacation come true, you are continuing to create only what you know how. Then, if you don’t know how, you may be repeating a disappointing cycle.
Instead: Get clear on what you want to create and go through the steps above and be open to new ways.
- What if someone invites you on a beautiful trip?
- Or if you are gifted some money for the trip?
- Or if you are invited to speak in that exact location and your trip is paid for?
- What if….?(open to divine guidance)
Step 5: Take the next step towards what you want to manifest
Put a stake in the ground to move forward on what you want to create by taking at least 1 action towards it right away.
This says to the Universe that you mean business and I have found that many times that is all I have to do. Just take the next indicated step and let go of needing to know all the steps right away.
Be aware of this mistake:
Waiting to take any action until you have figured out all the steps to take. Overthinking things and just sitting on your ideas out of fear of the unknown. Being afraid to fail.
Remember, you only fail if you quit, everything else is learning on your way to accomplishment.
The important thing is to take the next step right now.
Just begin and move towards what you want.
Step 6: Keep taking inspired action despite outward appearance
No matter what reality shows you, keep moving forward. Keep taking the next step towards what you want to create as if it is done and you are on your way to pick it up.
With each new step you move closer and since you aren’t attached to the outcome, you are not attached to how quickly you get your result.
I like to imagine that its already on the way to me, and I just need to keep moving forward.
Think of it like the experience actual fog. You can’t see much until you get closer and then next thing you know its clear and you are there.
If you depended on your vision it would look cloudy, like you couldn’t see or not know how far away you were and maybe you wouldn’t even want to move.
Be aware of these mistakes:
Being attached to your exact timeline. I like to set an intention to create by ____ (insert timeframe) or sooner.
Get inner guidance to make a change or new idea, or course correct on your plan and NOT follow it or question it. When you get inner guidance, follow it and you will experience that it leads you to your goal in a way that is better than imagined.
My wish for you, is that you apply this and manifest everything you desire!
And be sure to share your manifestations below, I love reading these stories!
